Product Description:
The RG59 Siamese cable is more heavily shielded so it's more durable and can be run longer distances (up to 1000 ft. without a repeater). Siamese cable consists of two cables: RG-59U 95% bare copper braided coax cable and 2 conductor 18 gauge electrical cable all within one PVC cable. Its heavier shielding makes it less susceptible to interference. The RG59 is usually purchased in rolls of 500 or 1000 feet. Each camera run will then need to be cut to the exact length. Since it is necessary to cut the cable and attach the connectors, it requires a little more work to install.

Our pre-made Siamese cables make installation a breeze. Easily connect your power supply and digital video recorder to your security cameras with this 65 ft Siamese video and power cable in just minutes. These professionally manufactured cables come with 5.5 mm power plugs and BNC video connections for use with any of our security cameras and DVRs. Our Siamese cables easily connect to any standard CCTV system.
You will need a crimping tool when using the BNC crimp on connectors. You will not need any special tools when using the twist on connectors. Professional installers prefer crimp-on video connectors because they are quicker to attach. On the other hand we prefer twist on connectors because they allow for a better cleaner connection.
Siamese Coax is a larger gauge power and video than standard pre-made cables. This also provides for a cleaner install because you can drill smaller holes because you attach the connectors after cable is in place.
To attach the power side of cable you simply cut the included power supply wire, strip about 3/4" of the end and wire nut to each side of cable. This will give you the correct plug to plug directly into the camera. The power supply is then wire-nutted to the other side of power cable inside your home.
