The SUN-P8D is an 8 channel professional quality surveillance system which installs into your own PC turning it into a digital video recorder. This system includes 8 high resolution indoor day/night dome cameras which provide state of the art security or surveillance functions for your home or business. This system features one of Sun Security´s series of hardware compressed DVR cards that are based on the H.264 compression and utilizes the powerful 645 chipset from TI. With everything you need included, the installation is a breeze and your system will be up in only minutes. This system has every feature you could possibly want in a high quality DVR system. It is capable of recording eight cameras of live video and audio at 240FPS in real time. With a capacity of 8 security cameras connected to the system, you can view and record each camera at a professional rate of 30 frames per second (FPS). And, at a resolution of 640x480 you will see excellent detail and clear crisp images from the high resolution cameras that are included.

Multiple boards (up to 5) can be installed on one PC and up to 32 channels encoding with max frame rate working together on one PC. This series also offers the option of using flexible combinations of the 4chs/8chs/16chs cards to achieve your security goal. You can utilize any of these capture cards to create a system that solves a security need up to 64 channels.

Our professional system supports a variety of recording modes, alarms, notifications and schedules. You can record continuous, by motion detection which will touch off the video recording, sending an email (monitoring pictures enclosed), sending an alarm by phone, and by sound, and alarm and scheduled recording. On detection, the system will begin recording, provide an on screen display, sound an alarm, send an email, or make a telephone call. The system can even respond by redirecting an optional Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera to that location or triggering an external relay.
